| August 2004 - The CB-1 has been phased out. This design will soon become an "open source" project. This means that the design and circuit board mask will be posted for those who wish to continue to use this great little board. The price on the CB-3K has also been reduced $5.00! July 2004 - We just started offering our newest circuit board, the CB-4. This board has all of the great features of our past boards as well as some cool new ones. Most notably, the Serial Interface that allows customers to change settings on the board. The Advanced Output Control feature allows users to custom configure the outputs however they desire. This makes the board very versatile. Most other boards have to have the chips custom programmed each time a new camera is discovered to work well with game cameras. With the Advanced Output Control, all you have to do is download the settings for a new camera, and you never have to buy another controller! Customers can also use this feature to control a variety of items other than cameras.
June 2003 - We just lowered our prices! We are able to get better prices from our suppliers and have passed the price break on to our customers. In addition, the circuit boards are now made for us by a PCB manufacturing company. This will provide our customers with a more reliable product! In order to further reduce prices, we have discontinued the CB-2 product line.
June 2002 - We just started offering two new circuit board kits! The first kit is the CB-2. It has all of the features of the CB-1 circuit board PLUS a refresh pulse. The refresh pulse enables the usage of cameras that "go to sleep" after setting for a long period of time. With the newly added refresh pulse, the system will be able to support most electronically triggered 35mm cameras *. Our other newly designed circuit board is the exciting CB-3. This circuit board has all of the features of the CB-2 and also includes a photocell that allows pictures to be taken in the Daylight only, Night only, or 24 hours a day. This is simply configured by the flip of a switch.
February 2002 - We just started offering circuit board kits for the CB-1 circuit board. The kit includes all of the parts to assemble the game camera system circuit board. This will make it much more convenient since all of the parts come from one source.
January 2002 - We are currently working on adding some features to our basic circuit board. Some of the anticipated features include:
We anticipate having the new design complete sometime in early spring.
After the above design is complete and tested, we next plan to move to a microprocessor based system to make the game camera system even more exciting. Here is some of what we anticipate on doing in the near future:
Any other ideas that you would like to see, just email us.
* Fieldpix cannot guarantee that the CB-2 will work with every single camera, but can provide a list of cameras already tested that has been confirmed to work well. |
