CB-1A  Assembled Circuit Board:

Description:

CB-1A is our basic camera system circuit board that is already assembled.  It is 2" x 3" in  size.  It was designed to allow the do-it-yourselfer to assemble their own game camera system allowing a them a very affordable, high quality game camera system.  All of the components are installed and the circuit board is tested before it is shipped.  Check out the design features below!

This kit is not recommended for people who are not  familiar with soldering electronic components!

Order an LCD counter module also!

After purchasing the CB-1A, all you have to do is:

  • Solder the supplied electronic components on the board using the very easy to understand instructions.
  • Connect the 6VDC battery holder (batteries and battery holder not included) leads to the circuit board.
  • Modify your camera (not included) and connect to the inhibit switch, then connect to the board

Then you are ready to go!  

If you want a more robust game camera system, you can purchase the optional event counter and connect it to the circuit board.  The points are already there on the circuit board if you want to add it later!

 

This Product has been discontinued!  We are going to make this an "open source" project soon.

  • Low Power consumption for long battery life.
    • Idle current draw:  200µA typical
    • Timing Cycle current draw:  450µA typical
    • LED current draw:  6mA typical
  • Two different sensor mounting options.
    • Option 1 - sensors mounted on the circuit board trace side.
    • Option 2 - sensors mounted on the same side as the components.
    • PLEASE NOTE:  All pre-assembled boards are assembled using Option 1 for the sensors.

  • Adjustable camera shutter output (2 to 13 Seconds).
  • Adjustable motion sensor sensitivity with a range of 60+ feet.
  • Counter output for the optional event counter.
  • Bright LED walk test light.
  • 4 time delay Options before next picture is allowed to be taken.
    • 30 seconds, 1 Minute, 3 Minutes, 5 Minutes
    • Custom delay times available, contact us
  • 6 to 10 VDC battery operation (4-C cell batteries Recommended, they should last all season long!)

 

What's Included With the Assembled Board:
  • All electronic components including the PIR and fresnel lens.

  • Power switch and camera inhibit switch (What's the inhibit switch for?).

  • Diagrams that show where to connect the batteries, camera, and event counter.

  • Easy to follow instructions including a detailed component placement diagram.

  • Circuit board mounting template for easy mounting to enclosure.

  • Nylon standoffs, with mounting screws.

  • Panel mount walk test LED.

 

What's NOT Included With the Assembled Board:
  • Event counter (Can't find one?  Click Here!).
